Tennis Racquet | Club Level
I designed this tennis racket out of my love for the sport and from a desire to create something that felt truly considered. Tennis is a study of rhythm, timing, and precision. I wanted a racket that echoed those same qualities. Every detail follows a design language that connects to the broader family of products I am creating.
The foundation of this design is modularity. I believe modular thinking is a pillar of the future, and I wanted to explore how it could enhance an object athletes rely on so heavily. This led to the removable net system. Three pill-shaped press points allow the user to push and release the net with a deliberate, simple motion. The entire net becomes swappable. You no longer need a full replacement or a tedious restring. You change only the part that wears down. It is practical, fast, and tailored for players who train and compete regularly.
To support this feature, the structure needed to feel strong and incredibly stable. The racket is made from aluminum to create a balance of stiffness and agility. The internal structure within the handle acts as the primary force point, giving the racket a sturdy, confident feel. It holds its shape under heavy play while staying responsive and controlled.
I shaped the handle as an octagon to naturally guide hand positioning. It lets the player feel orientation without looking or adjusting. At the base, I placed my logo inside a circle. The mark points directly toward the wrist when the racket is held upright. Many rackets use a similar cue, but I wanted mine to be clearer, more intentional, and more integrated into the product’s identity.
This racket is a reflection of form, function, and motion. It is designed for heavy use, built to last, and shaped to enhance the player’s experience. A familiar tool, reimagined with purpose.
